Chicken Cord Bleu is a popular American dish popular breaded with bone-boneless chicken breast pieces and rolled around pork (like ham or prosciutto) and soft cheese (like mozzarella, Swiss or bleu cheese) and then fried or grilled.

The original Cordon Bleu origins as Schnitzel are filled with cheese in Switzerland, probably around the 1940s. The first mentioned is this variant in a cookbook from 1949. The Chicken Cordon Bleu is a relatively new American creation, drawing upon the techniques of both Chicken Kiev and similar to a plate of breaded meat. In Europe, you do not get Cordon Bleu with chicken at this time, either with pork or beef. The earliest reference for "Chicken Cordon Bleu" in The New York Times is dated to 1967, while the same recipe of veal was found from at least 1955. The French term Cordon Bleu is translated as "Blue Ribbon". Chicken dishes should not be confused with cooking schools with the same name.

Ingredients:

  • 2 servings
  • 2 pieces of chicken fillet
  • 2 pieces of smoked beef
  • 2 pieces of mozzarella cheese


Ingredients for marinated chicken meat:

  • Salt taste (for chicken marination)
  • Sufficient pepper (for chicken meat marination)
  • Sufficient garlic powder (for chicken meat marination)

Ingredients for chicken fry:

  • Sufficient flour panir
  • Sufficiently flour
  • 1 egg
  • Sufficient oil for frying


Side dish:

  • French fries instant
  • Broccoli (boiled)
  • Carrots (boiled)

Step:

  1. Flatten the chicken until it is easy to roll, then marinate both sections with salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste, then enter the refrigerator for 15 minutes
  2. Put a smoked beef and a mozzarella cheese on top of the chicken then roll and stick with the toothpicks at the end
  3. Dab chicken which has been rolled with flour, then egg, last with flour panir, then put again into the refrigerator for 1 hour so that flour can attach perfectly
  4. Remove toothpicks, heat cooking oil, fry chicken meat until golden brown with low heat
